MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER:
Christina Tran
Closely informed by Buddhist principles of nonduality; a close personal practice of movement and meditation; and guided by the intention to heal through love as we continue journeying through life, Christina’s mission is to bring illuminating awareness and awakening to all she touches: to shine light on the beauty that unravels through our unique journeys of healing through love and tenderly, how we see ourselves (self-perception).
My journey started when I had the honor of photographing my best friend in college for her fashion blog, and we experienced unprecedented success — it felt like being apart of this incredibly fun movie. Fast forward, being on the other side of the camera has re-awakened healing, life, and the encouragement to create beauty and appreciate it, everywhere we go — unconventional, blissfully imperfect beauty.
My personal take is that everyone has a connection to their divine selves, their awakened hearts: and through the process of healing, capturing with love and guidance the moments that often are given way to the mundane, revitalize the spirit and remind us of who we are, in this moment now. Our evolution is written all over our expressions, and it’s my honor to hold space for, capture, and create pockets of time for our inner selves to be expressed, uniquely
Not the last ones. The first.
After living in San Jose for the last two years and moving about five times between San Francisco, Laguna Beach, and across California, my intention is to cultivate artistic expression with a taste of brightness and longevity, and explore elements of intrigue through my art and within space. It’s a passion of mine, and a vehicle of transformation for not only me, but so, so many. Coming from a middle-class working family and healing many of my own intergenerational traumas, I bring the heart-centered values of inclusivity to all connective work that I do — seeing and valuing creative expression as more than a modality of abundance; in many ways, creativity is a way of being. I’m so excited to work together!
In a world that seems to whirl so quickly, it never ceases to boggle my mind what the meeting point of humanity; passion; intimacy, and intensity of moment, filled with potential and heat, can bring to life.
Can we slow down, and savor the moment? What if this moment, is all we have?
May we commune in peace, love, and healing ✨
